No one can anticipate when an emergency will occur, which is why this is so important as a first line of prevention. This product contains High Surface Area (HSA) Activated Charcoal. Activated charcoal is recommended by Poison Control Centers for emergency home treatment of many accidental poisonings.

In the event of an accidental poisoning, the administration of activated charcoal can help significantly reduce the time of toxin ingestion.  However, all experts agree that in the event of an accidental poisoning and before administering any remedy, you should first contact a Poison Control Center or Hospital emergency personnel to obtain the recommended course of treatment.
