The Doctor's® NightGuard is a simple, affordable solution for protecting your teeth and jaw from the detrimental effects of nighttime teeth grinding. The Doctor’s® NightGuard consists of a moldable plastic mouth guard that comfortably fits over your upper teeth. The patented design creates a cushion between the upper and lower teeth that absorbs the force of grinding.
The Doctor's® NightGuard was developed by a leading dentist using specially formulated dental impression material. This material is easily and precisely molded to your teeth using boiling water. Because you fit The Doctor’s® NightGuard at home, it is much less expensive than a dentist-made orthosis. The entire fitting process takes less than 5 minutes, and the dental protector comes with a complete, illustrated guide to help you through it.

How do I know if I need The Doctor's® Nightguard?
Your dentist or dental hygienist may tell you that you grind your teeth at night. It’s easy for them to see the destructive effects of grinding on your teeth and gums. The pressure created by grinding can eventually wear your teeth down to nothing! Or, the person with whom you sleep may notice the sometimes loud and annoying sound nighttime teeth grinding can produce. Other warning signs that you may be grinding your teeth at night include headaches (sometimes severe) and jaw pain when you wake up in the morning.
Caution:
While The Doctor's® NightGuard may be similar in appearance to athletic mouth guards, it is not to be used for that purpose. If you wear braces, dentures or other dental appliances, talk to your dentist before using this product.
The Doctor's® NightGuard is not recommended for people who experience "clicking" of the jaw and/or have been diagnosed with TMJ problems. This is not to be used by children under 12 years of age.
Care and Maintenance:
After each use, simply rinse the dental protector in cool water or mouth wash. Store the dental protector in the container provided. Proper care of your dental protector will extend its life.
