the handles on these cups are great for little hands I like the beginning of independence that the cup gives my daughter and she just smiles like she is proud of herself too.

These are great sippie cups for those in transition from bottle to cup. Just be careful not to over tighten the top (or the cup will start to leak). Also, I have found that the handles break off, but my child (and husband) were particularly hard on a couple of the lids.

My daughter has been very independent since the beginning. At 6 months old she decided she wanted to feed herself but the advent bottles we were using at the time were to wide for her to wrap her hands around. We bought these sippys because of the handles and she took to feeding herself in a few days.
