Product Description

The Playtex® Petite Double Electric Breast Pump is a high-quality, discreetly-sized electric breast pump designed for ultimate comfort and efficiency. Three levels of fully adjustable suction let you control your own pumping experience. The unique, patented Soft Comfort® Breast Cups massage the breast while pumping and provide suction from the side, rather than pulling and tugging directly on the nipple as many other systems do, for ultimate comfort and fast let-down. The pump utilizes a unique closed system to protect breast milk against contamination. Can be used for single or double pumping.

I have had it for one month and already the suction is not as strong as it was when I purchased it. There is also a plastic piece that connects into the motor part that has already cracked and keeps coming off. This pump is not doing the job that I need it to do and I am extremely disappointed with it.

Playtex as you know has been around forever and is known for it's great products. I have used this for over a month now as I am trying to build up my reserve supply for when I go back to work and also for the days when I cannot breastfeed for medical reasons. Ladies- this is a great pump for minimal pumping. It is not made for every 2-3 hours as it is not stong enough and I still feel full after 30 minutes of pumping. If you need this to relieve a little pressure or try and build up your supply, this is the one for you.

This pump was the best thing I could find on my single mother on maternity leave budget... And it was probably the worst investment I could have made! The tube attachment that connects the pump to the suction tube tore after two uses and severely compromised the suction but I was still able to use it on the highest setting this worked for 7 days and finally wouldn't do anything. I tried calling Playtex and ended up getting a recording cause it was a Sunday when it finally broke. It's so nice that their products can break at anytime but they only care about it from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday. I can't return it cause of obvious sanitation reasons.
