What is the difference between the adult and children packages of Delsym®? They are the same formulation. Both offer 12-hour relief. Single active ingredient simplicity. Great orange taste. In fact, pediatricians have been recommending Delsym® for years. Delsym® children’s package makes it easier for parents to find the only 12-hour cough medicine sold without a prescription. The only difference is in the dosing in children vs. adults. Please read and follow directions carefully. For other questions, please consult a doctor, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional.
