This is one product that is IMPOSSIBLE to go wrong on! You can use Calgon for everything involving water except drinking it! It's harder than hens teeth to find in the states so when I DO find it I buy as much of it at a time as I can. I am so thankful I found Home Solutions...no more searching for where to purchase this product that I LOVE! Once you use it you WILL feel the same!

If you have hard water, try this! 11/04/2007

I am currently living outside the US in a country that has water that is hard as stone. After using a water softener in the US, I knew what I was missing. This product is fantastic. It will boost the cleaning power of any detergent product be that dishwasher or clothes washer. My only disappointment is that I cannot get the liquid version here because my mail service will not allow me to ship liquids. If I could get the liquid version, I would add that in the "fabric softener" dispenser on the washing machine. You would get naturally soft fabrics with no heavy perfumes.

I mix the Calgon powder with my dishwasher detergent in equal parts to combat hard water damage to the inside of the dishwasher. It keeps my dishes clean and my dishwasher top condition.
