My little boy chews on the spouts of all his sippy cups and the plastic on this type of lid doesn't start to peel and wear away. The other spouts get chewed up and it looks like he is eating bits of plastic! I’ve realized I am gradually replacing all of his sippy cups to this type.

I was thrilled to find a place to buy just the lid. My husband would often tighten the lid too tight and cause the "threading" to wear away and the lid would just spin, or the handles would get broken off. I really didn't like having to buy a whole new cup, but couldn't find just the lids anywhere! Now, I can save money and the cups my daughter loves!

if you have some of the old cups with the hard lids these are good to buy to replace the old tops...the spout is soft and they come with the extra valves with them
